"Bienvenidos a la Matanza"  in itch.io: Explore and complete missions in an open-world game!

In this demo of "Bienvenidos a la Matanza" you can immerse yourself in a sandbox game and explore the map, undertake missions, and change clothes in the wardrobe. Please note that changing clothes may reduce the FPS as the game is still in development. I have built this game from scratch, individually and tirelessly, for the past 8 years!

You'll be excited to know that we have a vibrant Discord community called "Bienvenidos a la Matanza" with over 5,000 followers. Community members share their enthusiasm for the game and provide valuable feedback.

One of the biggest challenges was the map, as everything from textures to the 3D model was created from scratch. We then proceeded to optimize it to deliver the best possible experience.

Currently, the demo is only available in Spanish, but we are working hard to expand its availability in other languages in future updates.

This demo features a functional mission system that is still in development but already allows you to try out key gameplay mechanics. It also showcases a day/night cycle and various environmental interactions — for example, parked vehicles can explode if shot repeatedly.

While there are currently no moving vehicles in traffic, the focus has been on other aspects like atmosphere, missions, and the explorable world. A few vehicles are available to drive, there are NPCs walking around, and the entire map is open for free exploration.

You'll also find pickups scattered throughout the map and a few hidden easter eggs for curious players.

Esta demo cuenta con un sistema de misiones en desarrollo pero ya funcional, que te permite probar algunas de las mecánicas clave  juego. También incluye un sistema de ciclo día/noche y diversas interacciones con el entorno: por ejemplo, los vehículos estacionados pueden explotar si reciben suficiente daño.

Si bien por el momento no hay tráfico de vehículos en movimiento, el foco ha estado puesto en otras áreas como la ambientación, las misiones y el mundo explorable. Hay algunos vehículos disponibles para conducir, NPCs recorriendo las calles, y todo el mapa está habilitado para la exploración libre.

Además, encontrarás pickups repartidos por todo el mapa y algunos easter eggs ocultos para quienes se animen a buscar.
